Crystal eyes that will not cry.
A little girl's despair.

Sorrow etched across her face,
So thick she will not see;
That the bitter taste of her parents
disgrace is theirs, not her destiny.

Conflicted love and hatred;
for childhood memories marred.
Broken hearted resolutions
leave self love tainted and hard.

Seek love my butterfly,
in places that you hide.

Seek love my rightous dove
in tears that must be cried.

A frightened little girl learned lessons
beyond her years.
An accomplished, beautiful woman
sees it all as a curse she fears.

Mother's love is potent.
While father the vision is strength.
Woe the price of innocence
when childhood ends before it's
length.
